Full Stack Developer (Node.js / React) — AI & Data

About the role

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer with 3–5 years of experience to help us build and scale our products. You'll work across the whole stack — Node.js/TypeScript on the back end, React on the front end — and take real ownership of the features you ship.

Three things matter to us beyond the usual full stack skillset: you know how to code with AI tools and get real leverage out of them, you're not intimidated by large datasets and complex queries, and you understand how applications actually run on AWS.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain features end to end, from database schema to UI

• Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor or similar) to ship faster — while still reviewing and owning every line that goes in

• Design and optimise SQL queries over large tables — indexing, execution plans, aggregation

• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot services running on AWS

• Write clean, tested, reviewable code and take part in code reviews

• Work closely with product and design to turn requirements into working software

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years of professional full stack development experience

• Strong Node.js / TypeScript and React

• You already code with AI tools day to day and know where they help and where they don't — good prompting, fast iteration, and the judgement to catch what the model gets wrong

• Solid SQL skills — you can write and debug complex queries and explain why one is faster than another

• Good working knowledge of AWS — you've deployed and run real applications there and are comfortable with services such as EC2/ECS, RDS, S3 and CloudWatch

• Comfortable with Git and REST APIs

• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with data pipelines, caching, or query performance tuning at scale

• Experience integrating LLM or AI APIs into a product

• Docker, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
